2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we collect through:
- The Offsys Intel website at offsysintel.com
- The Offsys Intel platform (web application and API)
- Email, forms, and other communications with us
It does not cover third-party websites we link to. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect

We do not collect sensitive personal data (financial data beyond billing, health data, biometrics, caste, religious belief, or sexual orientation) and we ask you not to send it to us.
4. Purposes and legal basis
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we process your personal data for the following purposes:

5. Consent and withdrawal
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by:
- Clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email
- Updating your preferences in your account settings
- Emailing hello@offsysintel.com
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, nor processing based on other lawful grounds (such as performance of contract).
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, email delivery, error monitoring — who process data on our behalf under written agreements
- Payment processors — who handle billing under their own privacy policies
- Legal or regulatory authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
We may disclose aggregated, anonymised statistics (e.g. “the number of alerts sent this month”) that cannot identify you.
7. Cross-border transfers
Your data is stored in the EU (Germany). If we transfer personal data outside India, we will do so only in accordance with the DPDP Act and any rules notified under it, ensuring the receiving jurisdiction provides adequate protection. †
8. Retention
- Active accounts — we retain your data for as long as your account is active and the service is in use.
- Closed accounts — we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records: 8 years under the Income Tax Act).
- Marketing contacts — we retain your email until you unsubscribe, after which we suppress it within 30 days.
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging, then deleted.
9. Security
We protect personal data with reasonable security measures including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encryption at rest for sensitive fields
- Multi-factor authentication on all team accounts
- Role-based access control
- Audit logging of all access to personal data
- Regular security reviews
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact security@offsysintel.com immediately.
10. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed
- Correction & erasure — request correction of inaccurate data or erasure of data no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
- Nomination — nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity
- Grievance redressal — lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see below)

11. Cookies and tracking
The Offsys Intel marketing website (offsysintel.com) does not use third-party analytics cookies or trackers. We use only:
- Essential cookies — session authentication, theme preference (localStorage)
- Server-side analytics — anonymised page-view counts from server logs, with no cross-site tracking
The Offsys Intel platform (app) may use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management.
12. Children
Offsys Intel is a business-to-business service and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

The Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days. † If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India as established under the DPDP Act.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
15. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, subject to the arbitration clause in our Terms of Service.
